I have always considered Pendragon to be a collaborative effort, as opposed to just one man (woman) show. My designs are more about showcasing someone or something else. Whether it be highlighting a fabric line I found inspiring or a way to present a new friend’s leather artwork, I don’t seem to be able to create new designs without taking a backseat and attempting to show the amazing talent of those I find around me. I’ve been inspired by hats, artwork and textiles and I’ve always tried to find a way to present these items in a unique and beautiful way through my costumes. We have been lucky along the way to find amazing artisans like Blonde Swan, Nigel Sade, Becca Janney, Jerry Brawner and Cheryl Walsh. In that vein, I present our new collaborative doublet: the Pendragon Doublet. Featuring trim by Patchwork Panda. This enhanced Marlowe doublet has your choice of trim, cordage color and sleeve inset fabric color. Like all our doublets, it is open on the sides and laces closed for adjustability. It is available in our standard sizes: regular, XLarge, Tall, Small Tall and Small as well as custom sizes for a slight charge.
